Madikwe Hills Lodge
Dear Friends -
A few photos from our journey to South Africa!
This will be short as it is past midnight on our final day at Madikwe Hills Lodge (a private lodge in a public game preserve) and we must get up early (we have been getting up at 5 a.m. for the morning game drive) again to catch an early (bush) flight to Johannesburg and from there to another camp.
We have seen beautiful animals on a huge plot of land that has been converted from farming (almost 100 years ago) to a nature preserve where wildlife thrives. We will write more soon to explain the eco-journey portion of our trip and the Plowshares Institute portion of our trip.
We hope you enjoy the photos...
PS - We just noticed that it was 90+ degrees in Aptos today and we are glad to be in South Africa where it has been a high of a comfortable 85 degrees!
Peace,
Eliza & David
